Hello, today in my hometown of Waarland around 10 pokestops got deleted, all still viable wayspots, still exist in real life. This came out of nowhere. I’ve had 1 or 2 pokestops be deleted before, but a deletion of this size is new to me, it feels like a bug. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to make my hometown playable for this game and this really feels like a stab in the back from scopely.
Do you want to appeal for removed wayspot? Can you share detail and location of the removed wayspot? We need more detail to advise better. Is it all in same area?
Yes i want to appeal for multiple removed wayspots. It is all in the same area. I dont know all names and coordinates from the back of my head, but here are a few: 52.72836901274185, 4.83421365022628 ; 52.73048488913379, 4.834408042229029 ; 52.72737032277554, 4.82820780882164 ; 52.72275732255548, 4.834980102191997 ; 52.71835930281357, 4.8421803308240765 ; 52.726597512791045, 4.824877405092095 . Multiple of those pokestops were signs from the Bicycle network in my area, wayspots that fullfill the criteria.
I think this topic explains the removal:
I haven’t heard anything from anyone for a couple of days now, do I need to do something in particular to appeal these wayspots? I urgently want these back, multiple people in my town are quitting because of their home pokestops being deleted, and thats not something you want to see at all.
Unfortunately, if staff have decided that these type of signs are not eligible then there is little that you can do unless they decide to overturn their decision for these signs which is unlikely has it has already been discussed several time previously.
My only suggestion is to go out and try to find other eligible wayspots.
Good Luck
Please read the thread that was linked above, as this provides the explanation.
Signs like this are telling cyclists how to get to node 55. Strictly, this makes them directional signs, and directional signs are not eligible (unless they have something else which makes them eligible).
In practice, these may be used like trail markers, showing you the way to go, but that is not what they technically are.
