4 Accepted Stops. None Appearing in game. Any help?

Hello! I got four stops approved in Niantic Wayfarer. Now I know they may be too close to each other or not. Not sure since they are all around the same place but my hope was for at least ONE of them to be approved for a stop. Any help?

I just scrolled over there (I’m in San Diego) on the Wayfarer map. There are actually a dozen more approved stops within interaction range (yellow circle below is centered on the piano) of these. Under the normal density rules, approximately six of the sixteen would be live on the map in game, probably including two gyms.

However, none of them are. And being that this is an airport, and from what I can see on the map, may also be a shared facility with the Marine Corps - and there has been mention in other threads specifically of stops having been removed “at property owner request” at Marine Corps bases… I would guess that this area is permablocked due to a property owner request.

It is certainly not behaving normally.

Scopely staff may post to confirm that.

Yeah, I find that odd as well. I also see that on and in the ACTUAL Marine Corps Air Station, where you need a CAC card to enter, they have various stops, gyms, etc. but for whatever reason nothing on the Airport is being approved which is opened to the public and various travelers who have mentioned why there are no pokestops here at the airport. Me, being a airport helper, was trying to get somethings approved at YUM international so hopefully I can get more answers or some help on what we can do.

Also if you could show me how you got that view, with the cells and stops together, that would be much appreciated.

Browser extensions. Search “Wayfarer tools”.

I was hypothesizing about the Marines. Simply because there has been mention of geoblocking of other Marine bases, specifically in VA and NC, I think I recall. It might have been the airport authority.

I am very familiar with the airport authority so I doubt it was them. I do hope to achieve some sort of answer tho because I would love for there to be some more activity here at the airport.

It will be a geoblock. Scopely Explore will not say who requested this, but it could have been one of multiple authorities, making it hard for you to go to the relevant one and ask for a reversal.

If that is the case, what does the authority have to do to achieve a reversal?

Someone that can prove they have the authority will need to contact Scopely Explore to request the reversal.

I’m hoping Scopely can confirm what the issue is and how I can contact them for further information.

Hey,

Sorry about the delay.

We have removed the Wayspots at this location at the request of the property owners.

Thanks,
