I recently submitted a PokéStop nomination while I was in Portugal, and it was accepted about a week ago. However, I’ve noticed that it still hasn’t appeared on the Pokémon GO map.
The nomination is for a church located at 40.691417, -7.732507. There is another PokéStop a few blocks away, so I initially wondered whether its location might be preventing the new Wayspot from appearing.
I’ve done some research and noticed that the existing PokéStop appears to be far enough away that I’m unsure why the newly accepted Wayspot has not appeared in-game.
Could you please clarify whether there is another reason the Wayspot may not have been added to Pokémon GO? For example, could there be another Wayspot nearby that isn’t currently displayed as a PokéStop or Gym, or could the nomination still be waiting for synchronization?
I’d appreciate any information you can provide about why an accepted nomination at these coordinates has not appeared in-game.
