Accepted spot not showing up

[Mallory224]

I got 4 new spots accepted in our town, those spots are not showing up on the map. I got a few other spots accepted after these spots and they are showing up? Is there a glitch? What can i do to get the spots put on the map after they were accepted? Pokemongo

Why an accepted Wayspot may not be used in Pokemon Go (S2 cells and Pokemon Go)

I have this written up for when I see a wheresmypokestop question. I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. The S2 cell use has not been officially confirmed as far as I am aware, but staff has acknowledged there is an additional step after acceptance. This is a good article about S2 cells and how they have been observed to be use…

You need to learn how s2 cell work if you want to know if your nomination gonna appear or no. But know that manipulating by missplacement of wayspot submission is subject to abuse ladder system.

Hello and Welcome @Mallory224

Please do read all that relevant material.

If you would like to tell us the names of the wayspots and their coordinates we can try to see if there is an issue. However do bear in mind that we dont have access to an up to date map so might not be able to give a clear answer.
