Ai photos in nomination reviews

I am seeing so many of these to review, and so many of them are being accepted. Just rejecting them and flagging them as abuse in review does not seem to be working. Should we be taking the extra step to file a report with help chat when we get these or use the abuse reporting form, too? Reporting Abuse in Wayfarer — Wayfarer Help Center

I think Scopely has to hand out harsher punishments for AI-generated nominations. I don’t think anyone who does this should have anything to do with Wayfarer moving forward; they should be permanently banned from the platform. Of course, this might give people more incentive to create throwaway accounts, but that is already happening anyway. :man_shrugging:

I see this often with trail markers now, which are much harder to spot unless you run every nomination through an AI checker during review. It’s getting out of hand.

Hey @cyndiepooh I’m with you. If they look TOO PERFECT. Then you know it’s a fake without needing to run the AI checker. Most of these nominations are done with throwaway accounts so even if Scopely suspends the account it doesn’t hurt the OP. Because it’s not their main account.

If I see it while reviewing, I use the Report function in the review flow, if I see it after the review, I use abuse function at the forum (this one works best)
