When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible: - Wayspot Title: Seaview Picnic Area - Location _(lat/lon)_: 55.94855°, 3.09399° - City: Edinburgh - Country: Scotland - ![IMG_4613](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/wayfarer/original/3X/d/8/d8bf661bbfc080d145b1e316a48fad8af4c7a651.jpeg) - Additional Information _(if any)_: The appeal was denied for being a 3rd party photo, but I took the photo myself, and it’s not from the internet. Permanent picnic areas, even if not bolted down, are eligible as wayspots. Hey @YelloWool , I can see that the image is indeed available on a third party platform. That’s a violation of our guidelines. **Edit** : It’s quite possible that you yourself had posted the image there (guessing by the context), but there is no way for us to be able to verify that. ---

ty - i was able to see where this was posted as @ScopelyExpAaron mentioned. he would have to tell you if this can be overturned with evidence you took the photo. i don’t know the procedure here. ---

Ah damn, they saw this photo on Reddit when you asked for eligibility. Even if you have the same username there, they can not guarantee it to be you and your photo and then this happens ---

Won’t it say it was posted by me? I reverse image searched it and the only result is the image I had posted to reddit to ask if it would be eligible. ---

I can certainly provide dates of my photo vs when the post on reddit was posted, as I believe it was a few days apart. ---

The problem is that the wayspot submission is anonymous to the reviewers and the review process, so it is not possible to know that a photo on another website was uploaded by the person who submitted the wayspot. **Never post the wayspot photo anywhere else.** Take a second photo and post that if you have to. Whether staff can do anything here will be for them to answer. ---

Think the easiest way to prove if the reddit post was your is checking your post and have the “view” and “view more insight” to be honest. @ScopelyExpAaron I can provide proof the profile the 3rd party image leads to is mine, and the original photo date and info on my camera roll. Anything else I can do to prove it as well. ---
