I have nominated the following bird wall, it got rejected, I appealed and it was rejected again. I don’t necessarily want to force a PokeStop so if it doesn’t get accepted, so be id, however I can’t work out why it is getting rejected.
The following is a bird wall on a walking trail that I use as a route and it is located on a popular walking trail where I live.
Description on submission:
A bird wall that is located on the Filey pastures walking trail route.
Additional submitted information:
This is a bird wall located on the Filey pastures walking trail. This is a well used walking trail on the outskirts of Filey. Benches are also located and it is a good place to sit in nature.
Unfortunately, Niantic has decided that your nomination should not be added as a Wayspot. Keep in mind that any changes based on this decision can take up to 48 hours to be reflected in Niantic products that will use this Wayspot.

Can’t quite work out how to find that so have done via Google, will be about right but not exact. 54.21839° N, 0.29519° W
There might be a cultural issue going on. To someone unfamiliar with blinds this could just look like a random fence. Maybe add a link to a page describing similar blinds and how they are important and useful.
Two similar bird screens with the same problem is interesting, if disappointing. Different materials but exactly the same type of POI.
This is clearly a bird screen, for anyone who has an understanding of them. Scopely Explore didn’t reverse the appeal rejection for the earlier one even after a long discussion of it here, so it isn’t simply a lack of understanding that this is a bird screen as opposed to a random fence.
It appears to be Scopely Explore determining that bird screens are not eligible.
Push the exploration angle. Don’t talk about what else is nearby as justification for this POI.
If I’m not going down the bird screen angle, what would the title of the new stop be? Should I take a picture of the walking trail with the bird screen to the side and call it a walking trail?
I don’t recommend this. Without the bird screen as the focal point, this is just an indistinct location on a path. With the bird screen as the focal point, the wayspot isn’t the path but the bird screen.
I didn’t read this properly before. The description and supporting is perfectly OK and would work fine if this was a virtually-guaranteed submission. It isn’t, for whatever reasons. This means you have to put more effort into the description and the supporting text.
(Also, I think “bird viewing screen” is better than “bird wall”, as the latter is an unusual phrase and the former seems to make more sense, as you are being screened from the birds. Obviously not a bird hide or blind, as it isn’t those.)
