Bad appeal rejection again

I have noticed a spelling mistake in the submission before anyone points it out lol

But this was rejected by the appeals team for normal decorative item? Thats not a rejection reason but even if it was, this isnt normal, its pictures taken from the loch, what’s normal about that? I would have accepted a few other things like cant verify its location or something, but seriously? Normal decorative item?

I think you may have to resubmit. 4 years is a long time for things to change. Even Google Street View that is only a few months old isn’t always trusted.

To be clear, its not tjat it was rejected, its the reason given im annoyed at, say unable to confirm its existence or something, not that crap reason given

And it most likely is due to it being submitting 4 years ago, and areas can change quickly in some areas these days. They most likely wanted proof that it is still there, such as a current geotagged photo, which you didn’t provide.

Maybe if you can provide a current geotagged photo here in the forums staff might take another look. Can’t guarantee that they will, but it’s something that you may want to consider.

The why not say that? They said “normal decorative item”, thats what im annoyed at, if they are going to reject it for a reason, at least make it believable

They may not have a script that matches that. I don’t think each appeals team staff member free hands a response to each appeal, but instead uses a pre-written script. While this has not been confirmed by staff, being I used to work in email customer service, we had many scripted responses already written out for us to use, based on the issue at hand.

Maybe it’s something that should be added, but at the same time, it may not be something that comes up very often.
