Additional Information (if any): I was banned because you think the place I used to submit a pokestop does not exist or it is fake, I send all requirements and details about the place is real and exist in our comunity, it is unffair I was banned for no reason.
I’ve known people (IRL & online) who have gotten this message before. Wayfarer thinks one of the following occurred: you used AI or other editing tools on your picture submission, you used 3rd party photos that were already on some other website somewhere else, including Facebook images and Google maps or street view types of images or you legitimately put something malicious in the photo (a face, visible people, some other personally identifying factor).
Wayfarer probably does reverse image search. If you, indeed, used a 3rd party photo, that is a violation. More information is needed to actually give a definitive answer, but the reasons listed up above are the most common.
Do you still have the photos that you used for this nomination? As @Zebbicat says, malicious image submission is typically because you’ve stolen a third party image from elsewhere on the internet, or you’ve heavily doctored the photo (though those are not the only two things that fall under malicious image submissions).
No I do not, I took the picture while I was there with my friends and then requested the pokestop, I do not even have access to wayfarer to see what it was or if I mistakenly uploaded another picture not related to the place.
I mean no problem if it does not become a gym or pokestop, I was more concerned I was banned for that, or if I used the wrong photo, before banned I think should ask more details or something to avoid this.
I understand, as I said I used the wrong pic, but place still exist, it’s not like I’m lying or using and creating fake things, but thats fine, I will wait to be back on.
