Please re-examine the location data and restore this location to the map. Thank you!
It is a bit difficult to see, but it does look like multiple doorbells, so probably not SFPRP, the lion is clearly visible in streetview, so I agree, that’s not the issue, so the most logical removal would have been the request of the property owner. But only staff can confirm this, otherwise, I agree, it looks eligible.
If one of those garage doors had a mural painted on it, would you accept that?
The section to the right of the lion is relevant, as that is the section this lion belongs to.
It looks like that section is a single-family residence over three floors, making this similar to terraced housing in the UK. Even if there is an external entrance to multiple residences, that wouldn’t stop this section being an obvious single residence.
Just from the look of the building, I can’t see this being returned.
It was removed, OP asked for it to be restored.
OP: “Please review and restore this long-standing, eligible Wayspot (“Black Lion”) which was recently removed.”
Response: “We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.”
…
Apologies for the mix-up in our previous response. We have taken another look, but stand by our decision to retire this Wayspot. Thanks!
