Chat icon overlay blocking the "-" (zoom out) on map

As you can see from the screenshot (taken today), the chat icon overlay covers the “-” button and I was unable to use it to zoom out. At a later point today, the chat icon was not here, and I suspect it happens after having tried to use the chat.

Running Chrome on a Macbook Air.

Also because the chat opens on the right of the screen, when you are making a report it blocks the title and location info of selected waypoints. It would be much more convenient if it was on the left side of the screen instead.
