Clarification needed: "x players visited your Wayspots in-game."

If a player visited two of my Wayspots, does it count once or twice?

The email does state…

“Visits
There were xxxxx visits to the Wayspots you nominated.”

and

“Players
xxxx players visited your Wayspots in-game.”

I have always taken this to be both of what you asked.

If you have 1200 wayspots and the same player visits all of them, that would count as 1200 players as far as I know.
