The exclamation points on the nomination map say they are Wayspots that may be used in other games, but they aren’t always, as the other Scopely games rarely have regular syncs. Most likely they are either Wayspots that are in the same L17 S2 cell as another that is already a stop/gym in PoGo, or an imported Power Spot. I’m thinking that the appliance store is an imported Power Spot, as many of those have had some incorrect info or just no longer exist.

(The Web Submit form reads “wayspot.”) An accepted Wayspot can only become a Pokestop/gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. Staff have acknowledged there is an additional step after acceptance for inclu…

> Hello Explorers, In response to the widespread interest in this subject, the Wayfarer and Pokémon Go teams came together with some response to your main questions. Let’s first align on the terminology. In Pokémon Go, those new locations where you can experience Dynamax and Gigantamax are called Power Spots. They are different locations than Pokéstops and Gyms. Where are Power Spots coming from? How are Power Spots chosen? Similarly to Pokéstops and Gyms, Power Spots are built upon the Nianti…
