Contributions not showing up

I know this has been an issue in the past, not sure if it’s still known and ongoing:

Yesterday, October 1, 2026, between 2:30 and 3:30PM EST I submitted 7 wayspots, but I did not receive submission emails and they do not show up in my contributions page. Not sure if I should resubmit, or if this is a known issue.

One other wayfarer I spoke to had a similar issue yesterday during this approximate time period with 10 submissions as well - they reported their contributions available number went down, but they don’t see their submissions in email or on contributions page. I can’t confirm if my available number changed.

  • Description of the issue
    I submitted a nomination at around 2:30pm est on 10/1 and still haven’t gotten an email confirmation. It also isn’t showing in my “Contributions” tab. Filled out all the info, added supporting photos, the whole thing. I got the “Submitted Successfully” text on the page, and my available nominations went down by 1. But it’s not showing in My Contributions and I never got an email. Anyone have any idea what’s going on? Never had this happen before.

I’m worried about re-submitting because I don’t want it to be seen as a duplicate. But it also doesn’t seem like it was successfully submitted in the first place. I’m confused.

Hello! I have the same problem just with one POI and it doesn’t appear on the contributions but it appears on the map on the place I requested. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Thanks! Do you know if I should resubmit the nomination? Not sure if it’s in the approvals pipeline or not.

Historically, the vanished subs usually reappear and process normally, but there’s not a great deal of harm in resubmitting. Chances are you will be able to withdraw it, with the worst case scenario being one getting marked as a duplicate.

In your position I’d give it another 24 hours and then resubmit.

Wait, I am confused. Are you saying that a contribution that you made is an accepted Wayspot but does not show on your contributions page at https://wayfarer.scopely.com/new/nominations? Could you give the coordinates of this Wayspot?

(I am not staff, so you don’t need to do this for me. I am just curious.)

So, at the end what do we do? Upload the nomination again? Or keep waiting?

I had the same issue and today is October 3th at night and there is no POI on the contribution lists, nor confirmation email.

I am waiting until Monday that is the first business day to see if anything changes. In case nothing happens, I’m going to make the contribution again.

Should we be resbumitting the nominations that aren’t showing? I don’t wanna do anything wrong.

It is advised to wait for 48 hours before resubmitting.

They appear to be slowly rolling in.

I uploaded the nomination again this October 5th at night.
The original problem was the October 1st around noon.
I waited for 4 days and the original nomination never appeared in the contribution lists. Actually today October 6 I’m still waiting for the original nomination.

I hope this new nomination no causes any problem.

Edit: Oh, there’s the old nomination! Gonna withdraw it! I liked the new one better.
