Welcome to the forum!

Niantic does not officially acknowledge the use of S2 cells in determining which Wayspots become Pokestops and gyms, but this article explains what the community has found: [https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/](https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/)

Hello and welcome @rafamarx

It’s great that you are asking questions 😎
Seeking advice to create a nomination that will stand the best chance of success is a good move.
If your main interest is submitting some specific places to appear in the game we can help check if what you are hoping for is possible.
Do check the information about what is acceptable
And this is a very good article about making a good nomination

> This was originally posted on Pokemon Go Hub and on the original Wayfarer forums, and modified slightly for a broader audience here, it was suggested that I post it here as well. I’ve removed some of the Pokémon Go specific bits, if you’d like to read the article in its original format you can find it [here](https://pokemongohub.net/post/news/niantic-wayfarer-top-mistakes-made-when-nominating-pokestops-and-tips-to-avoid-them/): I’ve also tweaked it slightly, as some things have changed. Hello Explorers, Now that I’ve passed 18,000 reviews and 11,000 agreements on Wayfarer, I wanted to take some time to go over so…

If you want to tell us the area we will see what we can advise.
I will move this to nomination support to help that process.
