Hi, we have a “dead cell” issue in our community park. Although our PokéStop submission was approved, it hasn’t appeared in the game. “Göztepe 60. Yıl Parkı Giriş 3” (40.968531, 29.057638). Additionally, Niantic added three special gyms to this park in previous years. While all the other gyms here are compatible with Super Mega Raids, there is a problem with these specific ones. “Türkiye parkı” (40.9683000, 29.0562900), “Niantic” (40.9694040, 29.0580640), “Türkiye parkı” (40.9697600, 29.0586800). Could you please check this?
That is Niantic Gym location. Issue is “Göztepe 60. Yıl Parkı Giriş 3” (40.968531, 29.057638).
Yes that one moved. After that I added new one but didnt appear in the game.
I have seen that before, and sometimes it just takes a bit for the cell to recalculate after an edit. But sometimes staff have to poke it with a stick (to quote a recent post) to get it to work right again. They don’t acknowledge cells though. Will be waiting to see what they say.
Still not appear new pokestop.
Hello @joecenk ,
Thanks for your feedback. We’re constantly making improvements to Pokémon GO and occasionally, you may notice changes to the PokéStops or Gyms in your community. While we are not able to fulfill your request to add back these locations at this time, we recognize the disappointment this may have caused and hope you continue to seek out adventures at other PokéStops and Gyms in your surrounding communities.
There are no issues with these locations.
Best,
PokemonGo.com/maps is showing this as live in game now. The Wayfarer map takes longer to update game status.
Hi, When I went to the park yesterday, I saw that the “dead” cells had been fixed. Thank you very much. However, I think you misunderstood me regarding the Gyms. There are usually around 100–200 players in the park, and that number rises to about 300 during major events. Even with such large crowds, Super Mega Raids should be active at these Niantic Gyms. I also checked Gyms in New York on the map; Super Mega Raids are not active at any of the sponsored Gyms like “Starbucks”, “Verizon”. Is this a bug or a specific rule?
This question is a question for Pokemon Go team.
The Wayfarer team has checked the Wayspots and have reported that the Wayspots are functioning correctly.
Whatever type of raids the Pokemon Go team chooses to place or not place at those Wayspots is not relevant to the Wayfarer program or staff.
You are absolutely right; that was my mistake. I had thought you might have some insight or information on the matter. Thanks. So, do you have any ideas or suggestions as to where I should send an email regarding this question ?
but be aware you are unlikely to get a response.
From my observation (bearing in mind I only really have access to one local sponsored gym and one slightly farther away), sponsored gyms are not eligible to host Super Mega Raids or Elite Raids (despite having the Elite Raid tag on them).
