I’ve seen lots of the same pokéstop mailbox from my pogo friends in the same city who send me gifts. So I decided to try it in my area that only has a few pokéstops but only got denied. Please help me how to do this right. What else I’m missing.
First off, never assume that current pokestops represent good things to submit. Sometimes trash gets through and people are unwilling to report things (not to mention niantic often wouldn’t remove things) just because they don’t meet criteria.
These mail boxes are considered generic in Canada since they all use the same few patterns. It’s mass produced art not localy interesting or unique. The mail box itself does not directly encourage exploration, exercise or socialization. Yes you can do all those things at the box but you can also do that next to the firehydrant. It is not like a gym specifically intended for exercise or a unique sculture intended to inspire.
