Don't see the spot anywhere

Hi.
I’ve submitted a wayspot and it got accepted. It didn’t appear in game and I don’t see it on any of the maps. Is there a sync delay for pokestops added into the game? I understand not all spots get into pokemon, but was just wondering if there’s an issue with my submission. It did get accepted, but it doesn’t show up on the map or in game.

52.657463, 4.748727 should be the right coordinates of the spot.

Description: Karakteristieke blauwe fiets en voetgangersbrug aan de Spilstraat richting het kanaal.
Extra info; Deze blauwe brug is een herkenbaar lokaal punt aan de Spilstraat en vormt een veilige wandelroute richting het kanaal. De brug is goed bereikbaar en moedigt aan om de omgeving te voet te verkennen. Deze brug gaat ook richting de Pokegym van de andere straat.

Welcome to the forum.

Your Wayspot is not eligible to be a Pokestop (or gym) because there already is a pokestop in this L17 S2 cell: Wipwap

Thank you for checking. I guessed this might be the issue after reading online. I guess me being inaccurate and not placing it on the exact bridge was a mistake, so silly as the spot got accepted.

Reqeust a location change. Since its more accurate if u place it in the middle.

Note: If staff believe that a wayspot is correct then you should not attempt a Location Edit even to an equally correct location.

This can be deemed as abuse and could lead to warnings / sanctions on both Wayfarer and Game accounts.

Not worth the risk.

I don’t normally suggest that you try to move a Wayspot after one of these posts. Staff will not move a Wayspot to make it show up in Pokemon Go, and can consider that abuse. However, it does kind of look like the pin landed where you took the supporting photo and should actually be on the bridge. I might actually ask help chat if they thought this one should be moved. Do not ask them to move it for game reasons, just to correct the location to better represent the Wayspot. I am not sure about this one.

Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it. After reading the comments on my post, I’ve checked my other submissions and cancelled one as the pin was off the actual object. Luckily it was still in queue for me to do so. I’ll definitely be more careful about comparing my own gps location with the placement of the pin next time. On a positive note, I’m happy that my very first submission got approved, and hopefully the bridge will be useful to other players too :blush:

This is huge success, having your first ever nomination approved. And the location does appear eligible to be used as a power spot here, so maybe you will see it in Pokemon Go that way!

I haven’t thought of that possibility, all the powerspots are further away so it would be awesome if this turns out to be one​:orange_heart:
