Edit Appeal Rejection

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Free Little Library

  • Location (lat/lon): 55.609419, -4.677588

  • City: Irvine

  • Country: Scotland, UK

  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):

  • Additional Information (if any): Library was recently removed to allow access for extension for the Museum. This has resulted in a few waypoints requiring adjustments. This is 1st requested.

It would probably help to provide visual evidence, such as photos or a video that can be confirmed to be from today.

Merely restating the request without providing additional evidence shouldn’t get a different result.

This is a fair point. I’m back in the area tomorrow so will upload some evidence. Annoyingly, I did submit photos with the original in-game request. However, as this was done via an in-game upload, indo not have the images in my gallery.

Please find attached images from now black section of Museum where Library once stood.

Note the black iron fence in the background of waypoint photo below is visible in evidence photos above.

Scopely Explore should have access to the supporting photo as well as the main photo, which hopefully matches well to your photos. It is very hard to match anything to that main photo because of the minimal data in the background.

There is one more photo which would help if those don’t - take one from the same angle and position (but a bit further away) that the main photo was taken from. There is a spire in the background which you should be able to use to line this up, combined with the pale brick building to the left and the white building to the right.

Back again. Finally managed to get back to the area avoiding the torrential rain! Difficult to get this from the same angle due to ongoing maintenance/upgrade works but the area highlighted with the red circle is the tower in question.

Also, from this angle the green area/building remains in place. The blue X in image #2 is roughly where the 1st shot is from. The red circle below shows the Library in place on street map but no longer in place in image #1. (The yellow hut is being used by maintenance crew, it is not a permanent fixture)

The whole museum is undergoing improvements, I expect many of the exhibitions to be replaced/upgraded or relocated.
