Fake not Fake - somethings not right

Since it appears that the wayspot was allowed to go through normal review, possibly so that people rejecting it could get agreements, @TheDoctorBird has lost an agreement as they rejected it and the community accepted it. This seems unfair.

Would it be possible to restore the lost agreement to the op and remove it from everyone who accepted this submission, as well as checking if there is anything suspicious about the acceptance.

This entire comment is based on an incorrect assumption. Nothing of the sort you have assumed happened in this case.

OK. (I made two assumptions in different posts. One that the wayspot was accepted by the community, the other that Niantic added it. I’m not sure which is worse, so hopefully there’s another option).

I have been noting down the location of fake submissions for a while, roughly half of them got accepted and are in-game, so I reported them again via the map. It’s worth making a note of really bad submissions IMO to revisit them later.

So was this rejected first time correctly when it was brought up in this post, and then submitted again at a later date and incorrectly accepted? I assume this was a community acceptance?

Next to it, this LFL looks like it’s on an SFPRP..

The location might merit some further investigation..

I’m pretty sure the “Bird Mural” at -33.794429,151.189032 is faked as well…

Hmmmm interseting one

If it is - it is well done for first glance sign off. I get you. The bricks don’t add up. The concrete base nearly right. But .. the concrete at back not quite right. The sign pole base missing…

hmmm I agree. Smells fishy
