Fake or Just Low Effort

These markers have been coming up a lot while I’ve been reviewing with a lot of them having already been approved. Would you approve, reject or report?

I’d be happy to accept a sticker trail marker if there were more details about the trail as they would be under the exercise criteria. These markers are not on streetview, the named trail isn’t online anywhere and they’re just in strange places, leading me to think they’re fake. If I don’t know for certain, which way should I vote?

There are also similar sticker stops in the area which are a bit suspect which I’ve added below, how would you go about reviewing those ones if you saw them.

Hello and Welcome,

I have also come across many of these recently.

If they haven’t shown evidence to prove them you are in your right to Reject.

Personally if I can’t prove either way quite quickly I will normally Skip.

Good Luck.

These are fakes.

None of these should be accepted as there is no record of the signs to match

cool that’s what I thought too. In voting at lesst would it be just reject, or report it instead?

You can report these as they are established fakes.

I do see that they’ve organised a Keynsham in Bloom event with a trail, so not necessarily fake

“ This year’s theme is ‘Creativity Unwrapped’. Get creative with your garden, veg plot, hanging baskets and pots design with our 15th birthday in mind. Be sustainable - use recycled, waste and second-hand items in your design. To include your garden in the trail map please click the entry form below.”

It was a trail of garden group sites none of which were here.

Is there a way of mass reporting? Going through marker by marker, especially as they’re still in voting, is pretty tedious, and difficult to get approved without proof.

I understand these have been reported, as it has already cropped up with questions similar to yours.

Simply report any in review as these won’t have been reported previously.

All of the reports got rejected for these 3 styles of routes, do I just leave them now then? They’re still being added as well but removing is 1000% more difficult than adding

If you truly believe the wayspot is ineligible, You can appeal rejected request in this forum, so that everyone can see and give advise to it.

Keep reporting. Use the report form at Reporting Abuse in Wayfarer — Wayfarer Help Center to report multiple waypoints that are abusive, and the people making the subs will (eventually) end up receiving sanctions. Hopefully that will slow them down a little.
