Hallo,
ich beantrage die Entfernung des Wayspots „Frankfurter Kultur-Säule“ an der Rebstöcker Straße 61, 60326 Frankfurt am Main.
Koordinaten: 50.101889, 8.627972 (50°06’06.8"N 8°37’40.7"E)
Das Objekt (klassische Litfaßsäule / Kultur-Säule) existiert an diesem Standort nicht mehr.
Als Nachweis füge ich folgende Fotos bei:
Originalfoto aus dem Wayfarer-Beitrag (Säule mit Plakaten vor dem Gebäude).
Wayfarer-Ansicht mit Standort und Beschreibung.
Aktuelles Foto vom 21.08.2026 (geotagged) – die Säule ist vollständig entfernt.
Google Street View vom September 2022 vom selben Standort – die Säule war damals noch vorhanden (gleiche Gebäudefassade und Position).
Die Säule war ein typisches Frankfurter Stadtmöbel und ist inzwischen abgebaut worden. Der Wayspot erfüllt daher nicht mehr die Kriterien (kein permanentes physisches Objekt mehr vorhanden).
Bitte den Wayspot entfernen.

To request the removal of a wayspot, you can do this in one of two ways
Using Pokemon Go, click on the wayspot and navigate through the three dots menu
Using the Wayfarer map at Niantic Wayfarer, find the wayspot and click on Report.
The “Wayspot Appeals” category is for removal reports (etc) which were rejected and you want to appeal this. Scopely Explore do often fail to remove wayspots where it would take only 5 seconds to confirm that they should be removed.
That’s not a fair assessment. Nevertheless, that’s your opinion, you’re entitled to it and we respect that.
I’ve already reported it in game but it was rejected, if you like I could show you a screenshot of the rejection.
I don’t know how many reports Scopely Explore get, how many of these get rejected and how many of those are appealed here, but I see a lot of rejected appeals being reported here where the rejection was clearly incorrect.
If I knew the numbers (I’m not asking to know them), I would probably agree this assessment is unfair, but I can only go by the information that is public.
First of all, the photo provided is not edited, it may just be the camera quality. Secondly, yes, I tried getting the Gym removed because I did not see the statue, that’s why I stopped demanding it’s removal. I apologize for that but this has nothing to do with this current situation. As far as I know, the POI is no longer existing and this is why I call out to ask for it’s removal. If you insist, I could also take multiple pictures from different angles and provide them tomorrow as a sign of honesty and legitamity.
Thanks for the appeal, @28050969! We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
