Good day.
I previously received confirmation that my request, Wayfarer Support Chat ID#43408385 , had been reviewed and approved, and that the Wayspot would be moved to the correct location.
The case was from around 2026/08/28, but the location still hasn’t been updated yet.
Because of this, I recently contacted Wayfarer Support again regarding the same issue, just to ask about the status of the previously approved location update. The new conversation ID is #262298.
I was wondering if the approved location update from ID #43408385 is still in the queue or waiting to be processed.
Thank you very much for checking and for your help!
I see that we have already moved the Wayspot to its correct location, and it doesn’t need any further adjustments.
When we review a report, our goal is to move the Wayspot to its correct location. That may or may not be the location you want.
Moreover, attempting to move Wayspots away from their correct location to manipulate the gameboard is considered abuse and may lead to sanctions on your accounts.
I had intended to look for an existing thread on the same topic to avoid causing trouble for others, so I didn’t notice the date.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness! it’s good!
Thanks for the clarification. I see, I think there may have been a misunderstanding.
That was originally an appeal for a rejected case. Since the Google Maps Street View there hasn’t been updated, I actually went to the location myself and took new photos to confirm where it really is.
I also noticed that the business marker on Google Maps is placed quite close to the road.
Maybe the business put the marker there to make it easier for people to find or notice the store, rather than to show its exact physical location.
So I’m not sure if that marker is accurate enough to use as the exact Wayspot location.
I’m not trying to manipulate the gameboard. I just wanted to provide the location I confirmed in person and make sure the Wayspot matches its actual real-world location.
That’s also why I still feel the current location seems a little off, even after the previous adjustment.
Thank you for understanding and for taking another look!
