Could someone please explain to me why the Wayspot is not showing up in game?
Is it maybe because the google map is outdated? Like there is a road/sidewalk around the condo, but its not updated in google maps so that might be causing an issue too? The condo was a pre-construction condo and development is completed from top to bottom. Maybe it will appear once google maps update the area?
I also looked online and I saw some links to find out if the Wayspot have some sort of cell violation, but I am struggling to understand how to use it or find out if it did violate it. I also didn’t want to randomly register in some tools to validate and confirm.
It would be nice if the community can recommend a trusted tool for me to use for next time since there will be a park that will be build behind the Condo as well and plan to submit more nomination.
On the other hand, is there a way to fix the issue for this nomination?
When a wayspot doesn’t appear in Pokémon Go, the usual reason is that there’s another Pokéstop or Gym blocking it from appearing. You can read a bit more about the system Pokémon Go uses for their density rules here:
In this case, your nomination isn’t able to become a Pokéstop or Gym because it’s in the same level 17 S2 cell as the infinity pool that you also submitted.
This nomination should be eligible to become a Power Spot when the next sync for those happens in a few days though.
