I’m reporting locations that no longer exist but being rejected

I live in a downtown area that has many many outdated or incorrect wayspot locations and it is confusing to explore the area in the game when there are so many wrong locations. In order to get the area updated and accurate, I tried to update the pics/names at first but got a notice and warning from Wayfarer when I did that so I started reporting the locations instead. Some of those reports were accepted so far but I’m very confused that many are being rejected despite these places literally not existing or having wrong information or being duplicates of other wayspots.

What am I supposed to do in this situation? Just keep reporting the locations and trying to explain it better each time and hoping someone will eventually actually realize these places should not be in the game?

I always explain in my report and sometimes add links to proof.

“This buisness left around 5 years ago, look at streetview from 2015”

“This waypoints is actually on the other side of town at (insert coordinates here)”

Make it as easy as possible for the reviewer since they probably have hundreds to go through every day.

Hello and welcome @glukener

There are a range of ways to report you might find this post helpful

The tricky part can be about putting the evidence together.

Sometimes talking through several years of streetview can be a way to demonstrate a change.

Attaching geotagged photos to show the situation is another. The different methods allow different ease of options.

You can also appeal any rejections I the Wayspot Appeals
Or you can simply try again providing more links/proof.

Ah, okay, yeah, that all makes sense. I had written descriptions pointing out the differences in Streetview pics over the years but I didn’t attach pictures nor screenshots of those Streetview differences. So, for these rejected ones, I’ll try to get better photo evidence and maybe that will help but that’s also good to know about the Wayspot Appeals area within here in case those fail too.
