Incorrect location for “St. Hilarys Close Footpath Marker” Wayfarer submission

Hi there,

Submitted a new Wayfarer location couple weeks ago which was recently accepted (St. Hilarys Close Footpath Marker), however I’ve just spotted the location is in the wrong street on the map, is there a way to get this corrected, as it is showing up at St Crispins Close and not St Hilarys Close?

Correct location (St Hilarys Close)
:round_pushpin:53.191583, -0.596787

Incorrect location (St Crispins Close)
:round_pushpin:53.189607, -0.596134

Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I can see the sign for "St Hilary’s Close) on street view, so can tell this is an obvious correction. Lately staff have been moving these when they see posts here, but the normal procedure is to use help chat. When you go to the help menu on the wayfarer site https://wayfarer.scopely.com/new/help a chat box will pop up in the lower right corner. When you tap it, a bot will take the information, then a human will get back to you after they have a chance to review the request.

Even though they ask for your email for verification, they don’t send an email, so you may want to make a note of the ticket number in case your browser loses the chat history.

With this being clear on street view, I don’t foresee any issues with needing more evidence. I do try to make people aware that the team can accept the request, reject the request, move the pin to a different location, or even remove the wayspot, but this seems like an obvious correction. I don’t know all the ins and outs of footpath eligibility though.
