That submission map only shows what else there might be located there when you are physically at that spot.
Yes it is truly unhelpful for submitting once you are home on WiFi.
Yeah I am usually uploading notifications straight on spot as it’s easier to find it where marker need to be placed, but it’s so annoying to don’t have nothing in area to play at all. Last time I actually submit one wayspot (bench) and been approved next day- of course my luck did not appeared at Pokémon go but when I was checking map, like I done with heron was already marker that wayspot it’s being used at niantic other games. Heron dont appear at all anywhere so it’s really annoying when someone putting reason like that when it’s literally not over there😂 fingers crossed for my other submission what I done today
And literally that is what is showing me all the time as example thst bench ![]()
The Heron Sculpture does exist at 52.082144, -0.753208 but is in the same Level 17 S2 Cell as “Map of Redhouse Park’s Art”. If you can see that map as a Pokéstop or Gym, that’s why the Heron isn’t able to show up in game (though it may be eligible to be used as a Power Spot). It is still a wayspot in the database though and that’s why it got marked as a duplicate.
Ahh it’s good to know about it
and I was getting already angry that people mark as duplicate as from literally last pokestops what was not approved I start doing them in spot and did not show me anything so I was happy that I can add another wayspot to game ![]()

Just appealed for another wayspot. As of course Emily did not added. I was surprised that water lilies was not approved as well for the same reason as it’s completely different part of rocla art and actually never been added as well. I really don’t know what I am doing wrong while I try add any wayspot ![]()
wow. i am also surprised about water lilies being rejected by the automated process. for the bugs, we told you to get closer, but maybe on this one you need to get a little further back for the ML model to understand this is not an actual plant. can you show us the supporting photo for that one? maybe i can suggest how to frame the main photo.
It’s not just about the photo it is the whiole nomination. I wonder if your description should make that clear - This art work is a sculpture of water lilies made of metal by ….
As it stands for both the insect and the water lily there is nothing that says it is art.
Trust me I am really trying to do as close as possible but some of them are actually really really big
for moth this time I used diffrent additional picture as actually under moth was information about it
i was saying that this might be bad. it might be making it look like a real plant or a real bug. you need to be close enough to have a focal point, but not so close that it loses the context of the background. i think you may need to be further away, not closer, at least on the water lilies.
I will be honest that before I add any description now I am trying to find first at website what is what and then I am adding with actually right information. But yeah I need to keep trying then it’s just taking so long time for appeal to be available ![]()
Will try with water lilies tomorrow again instead of appealing. My bad with understanding
English it’s not my first language so sometimes I might miss read it ![]()
That is a nice piece of art. It even appears to be on public space as it is in front of the fence where there is a path. Make sure the supporting photograph is from an angle that clearly shows the art is on the gravel path, in order to avoid any risk of SFPRP being flagged. Definitely submittable based on that photo.
Perfect. Will do it definitely but need to wait as I am going soon with my little one for vaccine
and as soon as she will be okay I will definitely do it, thank you so much ![]()
I’ve been wondering, for the insect art, whether you have tried submitting a plaque, such as the one for the pony sculpture.
As long as the plaque is permanent and clearly fixed in place, it should pass both eMiLy and reviewers. Give the wayspot a suitable name (e.g. “Pony Sculpture” instead of “Plaque for Pony Sculpture”) and you could then try adding additional photos afterwards without having to change the name first (some reviewers would pedentically reject a photo of the sculpture if the wayspot is for the plaque).
if you take a step or two to the left, i think the pony shape might show better for the main photo. very cool art.
Oh I tried to add plaque for one of the insects moth and was not approved by Emily but after appealing community or someone higher idk who approved tbh pass it
I tried to change now names as well so instead of only ex „red beetle” I put „sculpture of red beetle” maybe that is actually reason why Emily is straight not approving:joy: will try everything tbh as I really want them to be approved
I tried, trust me
but will try one more time with my partner, maybe he have better sense of doing picture than me as I was walking around minimum 10 minutes to try do it right ![]()
