IMO: You are correct, unfortunately I have seen other instances where multiple football pitches have been accepted and removal requests have been rejected.

The usual argument is that each pitch hosts an individual game unlike golf where a game involves all the holes.

They are separate fields.

Having a quick look at the east fields, each Wayspot seems to represent a separate field so I wouldn’t consider those duplicates.

The one I think needs the most scrutiny, however, is “North Lake East Soccer Fields” at 40.363534,-111.856768. Does the sign in the photo actually exist at that location?

The sign looks the same as “North Lake West Soccer Fields” at 40.362919,-111.858458. If you look on satellite for the west sign, you can see where the cement comes out for the sign base.

But if you look at the east sign, this cement is missing.

But based on the photo for the east sign, it should have the same cement base.

I looked all the way around the perimeter and cannot find any cement like this other than the location of the west sign.

Based on this, I think “North Lake East Soccer Fields” at 40.363534,-111.856768 is actually a duplicate photo of “North Lake West Soccer Fields” at 40.362919,-111.858458, and should be removed as the object does not exist at that location.

Thanks for the appeal, @rawwrs! We gave this a second look and decided to retire the Wayspots in question.
