# Invalid Wayspot - Village Green Cricket Pitch

According to [Content Guidelines — Wayfarer Help Center](https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/faq/2775-content-guidelines/#placemarkers-for-large-areas), “Instead of placing the Wayspot in the center of an open field, park, or other large area, place it at the entrance or where there is a visible sign or placemarker.”

In this particular case there is a sign for this field, and it’s already [a wayspot](https://intel.ingress.com/intel?pll=34.180471,-118.472712):

This park has multiple cricket fields. Field boundaries are not clearly marked, but every field has a sign, and most signs, if not all, are wayspots:

The wayspot in question is just for the pitch of the field. According to [Cricket field - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricket_field), apparently there are no fixed dimensions and you can even have trees on the field, so the wayspot is located on the field and would interfere with a game:

Considering that this field is already a wayspot and all other provided information, I suggest removing this wayspot.

Thanks for the appeal @Itsutsume After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
