Is this eligible?

Hey wanna ask is a historical house built in 1950s eligible?its beside the road with plenty of access..i ask the barangay officials if it is still a private property or if someone is living there..And they said it was donated by the former owners to the barangay for cultural preservation..and only once a month they sent barangay tanods to clean the place

U nd evidence to support that claim. As reviewer, i find it hard to accept such claim without any evidence. Just photo is not enough

You would have to provide evidence that it isn’t private property (SFPRP, specifically) as it looks like it is.

However, old buildings are not immediately eligible - they have to have something to make them interesting and worth exploring. This doesn’t appear to have that.

I ask if there was any plaque or signage they said they dont have the budget to make the place presentable or maintain its cleanliness so they dont think a plaque or signage is needed..so i ask if there was any written agreement to justify if it really was donated and they have that..so incase i ask for that and they allow me to get a copy of that how should i put it in the nomination?

First of all. What make this particular nomination explore worthy? Beside its old. Because i dont think it will fit exercise and socialize category

In addition usually u nd anchor for nomination. Plaque is usually used. I doubt written agreement will pass

It is the NHCP that designates heritage houses, the LGU forwards the requests. There is also a registry of historic structures via Talapamana.

Several of these houses have been converted to museums and businesses. Noting the rejection criteria page:

Location is a private residential property (even if historical), farmland, a K12 and under school (preschool, primary/elementary, secondary/high school), child care/daycare center, rehabilitation center, safety shelter

It may be safer to hold off for now since there are no undergoing renovations and it may still be SFPRP until further developments take place.

There is also no practical way of verifying if a document is true from a reviewer’s standpoint unless the declaration is published online.

Ok copy that..thanks for the clarification
