Welcome to the forum
Which wayspot is this a duplicate of?
Korkenziehertrasse Einstiegspunkt ,Wuppertaler Straße’’
(51.199025,7.073885)
It exists and is visible on streetview at this location, with no other wayspots nearby that represent this POI. I notice that this is a gym.
Von diesen 51.200998, 7.075222
Korkenziehertrasse Einstiegspunkt ,Wuppertaler Straße‘‘
(51.200998,7.075222)
This has exactly the same photo as Wayspot Korkenziehertrasse
Einstiegspunkt „Wuppertaler Straße" Location (51.199025, 7.073885), so one of them is a fake.
I would actually report the one that is to the north (the pokestop), as the gym has visual evidence of it existing, but they can’t both exist with identical photos.
To add on to the confusion, on Open Street Map both locations are marked to have the same sign
The question is, which one is correct?
Die Arena ist aber leider ein Fake darum auch die Löschung
There is Mapillary map data for both locations. These appear to be two different signs with distinct images and text.
Korkenziehertrasse Einstiegspunkt ,Wuppertaler Straße’’ - 51.199025,7.073885
Korkenziehertrasse Einstiegspunkt ,Wuppertaler Straße‘‘ - 51.200998,7.075222
51.200998,7.075222) Das ist der originale
You need solid evidence to claim that the wayspot submitted in September 2026 is the original, while the one submitted in 2015 is not the original.
The mapillary data does support this!
However, since there is a feature at both locations, the correct action is to submit a correct photo for the gym and then ask for the incorrect photo to be removed.
Edit: The gym already has valid photos - see following posts.
Indeed, maybe just the picture from 2026 needs to be removed.
Two of the photos need removing from the gym. Neither wayspot needs removing.
It’s odd that the identical photo from the new wayspot was added to the gym two weeks after the new wayspot was approved.
@Juventus98 you should remove the check marking this topic as solved so that staff will know it still needs to be addressed. The people responding to you so far do not have the ability to make any change to wayspots. Staff forum names will begin with “ScopelyExp” when they reply.
Unless you believe the issue has been resolved.
Hier in Forum kannst du Nachweise hochladen
The report for removal as a duplicate should be getting rejected, because this gym is not a duplicate. It simply has photos which don’t belong to it.
Report the two invalid photos (highlighted above), which will correct the situation, and stop trying to get this eligible accurately-placed gym removed.
Wie soll ich das denn bitte anstellen? Ich hab keine Ahnung davon.
