Location and Category Edits While Holding

Hello,

Second attempt at Waypoint making:

I went for a really fast walk, snapped some photos of potential Waypoints and then put them all on Upload Later so I could focus on detail work after my walk. I’ve Uploaded and they are now all on Hold. I’ve discovered that the Edit button doesn’t allow me to change the Location or Categories that I quickly and inaccurately whipped into the initial submission I made while on my walk. Is there a way to change those before I submit? And if not, would it be more appropriate to delete the nominations and completely redo or to mention in the Supporting Info a Note: at the beginning asking reviewers to change/verify in their review the Category and Location to their true data once I research it?

The categories do not really matter.

As for editing location, no. On the Wayfarer site you can only edit the text based parts of the nomination before it goes in to Voting.

So to answer your question, you should cancel those and resubmit in the right location. Asking reviewers to place it in the right spot will never work and many will flag that as abuse for influencing reviewers.

It might be seen as attempt to missplace wayspot submission or worse fake submission. I recommend you to cancel and resubmit.
