You seem to have tried reporting the wayspot as invalid instead of requesting a location edit. Location edits aren’t typically handled on the forum. If the location edit is too far to request in game, or the wayspot doesn’t appear in game, then you should log in to your wayfarer account on the wayfarer website and go to the help page. In the corner you’ll find an orange button that will open a support ticket. You can make the edit request through that ticket and provide any evidence necessary that the edit is valid.

Hi hank,

Yes I am aware, however for some reason the help chat does not reset for me to do a new edit request very often, so prevents that function from being used.

Most recent instance was 7 days stuck on the prior report chat.

So I use the “location does not exist” (at that location) report, and provide the information within.

I did also notice someone else on the forum suggested just moving the location edit from the chat to the report function, which would probably be more efficient overall.

Staff have mentioned that there is a delay in processing Help Chat reports. It wasn’t a problem when it was answered in Hours but Days does cause issues.

There are user generated tools that could help with this, we are not allowed to link but a search for “Wayfarer Tools” could help.

May be excessive for the odd report so with the current situation just sitting it out may be the answer until it improves.

You can use a a reporting form to ask for modification instead of help chat.

> [@Options for reporting a Wayspot remotely](https://community.wayfarer.scopely.com/t/options-for-reporting-a-wayspot-remotely/115985/1):
>
> There are also two reporting forms linked at the top of the forum that can be used without going to the Wayfarer site. I find it better to use the form when I have several to report in the one area.
>
> If you can’t see those links keep reading …
>
> The one under “Wayspot Removals” is sometimes called the property owner form, and can be used for modifications as well as removals. The form rarely matches what I am trying to do, but we have been told to just select _anything_, then explain the issue in the text box. If the acknowledgement email that the report was received asks for your “credentials,” just ignore it. A staff member will reply. The link to that one is: [Reporting a Wayspot — Wayfarer Help Center](https://scopelyexplore.helpshift.com/hc/en/10-wayfarer/faq/1998-reporting-a-wayspot/)

The snip is from a topic on how to do reports, so is a bit out of context, but you can see how you could use it.

Thanks for the appeal, @KindrosAU! We have taken another look, and we’ve decided to move the Wayspot to the correct location.
