Location Edit Appeal: 初島レモンプロジェクトのシンボル「レモリン」

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: 初島レモンプロジェクトのシンボル「レモリン」

  • Location: 35.038180, 139.168963

  • City: Atami, Shizuoka

  • Country: Japan

  • Current Correct Location: 35.038054,139.168905

  • Description:

This Wayspot has been approved, but it does not appear in Pokémon GO because it is within the same S2 cell (Level 17) as the nearby fountain Wayspot.

The actual location of the Remorin statue is slightly shifted from the current pin. To reflect its real-world position accurately and allow it to appear in-game, I would like to request a location correction to the “New Correct Coordinates” listed above.

    Thank you for your assistance.

Welcome to the forum.

The pin you suggested puts this is a different L17 S2 cell.

(I originally thought it was putting it outside the building, but realized that was just the color of the roof.)

If you need to request a location edit, you can go to the help menu on the website to access help chat https://wayfarer.scopely.com/new/help
A chat box will pop up where you can make the request. A bot takes information, then a human reviews the request and replies.

It is not possible to verify the real world position on Maps, so they will need evidence, like location tagged photos. They will not do a move just to put it in an empty cell to make it appear in game.

Even though they ask for your email to verify you, they do not send an email. They reply in the chat box. You may want to make a note of your ticket number in case your browser loses the chat history.

Thank you for the clear support.

That was a huge help.

For indoors, a video can be useful. e.g. walking from the outside (where satellite is visible) through to the inside, to show the indoors location. Videos can be uploaded externally and then linked as a URL.
