I used the Help Chat to correct a location I saw in voting. Despite the positive answer I received, after several days (I forget how long) the location remains at the incorrect location.
- Wayspot Title: DTM Memorial Playground - also note, I believe based on Satellite that this location should be renamed “Broadview Estates North Playground” - “Broadview Estates” name is affirmed by the Google Street View of the neighborhood estate entrance sign located at Google Maps

I first saw this as a location edit in voting on the evening of August 30. I was unsure how there were multiple locations far further than whatever in-game limit is in place. Took a note of it because it was so irregular. I also noted that the original (live) location (top left) is clearly incorrect and on prp. I voted on the correct location which is the furthest right and slightly higher location, as visible on Satellite and affirmed by Street View.
The next morning, I saw it again and this time even noticed (difficult to see in this screenshot) that none of the locations available were correct - the location I voted on the night before was no longer available. Made another note because of the irregularity, meant to go to Help. At this point, I went with “Unable to find an appropriate location.”
… Mere minutes later… Yet again, “Unable to obtain an appropriate location.”
But it wasn’t done, yet! That afternoon, I saw it for the 4th time -
At about this point, I did go to the Help Chat and began the process of adjusting the location -
I’m not sure exactly when this Help Chat edit was approved by Staff, but it has been several Pokémon GO game syncs and map updates. As of now, it is still incorrect.
You’ll also note the title was not changed, as suggested by me in the edit. I understand it is not the traditional method of proposing text edits, but “DMT” appears incorrect and irrelevant and I’m not driving over 9 hours to propose it in-game.
