This was part of a [limited-time collaboration between the Perth Zoo and the WA Museum in mid-2023](https://visit.museum.wa.gov.au/boolabardip/wild-about-babies) to help raise awareness for vulnerable species worldwide.

MINA and 21 other bronze-cast animal statues installed around the WA museum were relocated back to the Perth Zoo after the event.
[They are now part of the “Wild About Babies” trail walk around the Zoo.](https://visit.museum.wa.gov.au/boolabardip/wild-about-babies)
