Wayspot for “Ubi Shelter” is now missing, though location edit was successful back in 2021.

There’s another Wayspot “Fitness corner near blk 334” which is nearby, which could possibly be the reason why “Ubi Shelter” is missing.

One possible solution is to shift “Ubi Shelter” southwards to 1.326148000762332, 103.90359790121587 and “Fitness corner near blk 334” a bit more north to 1.3263229680143283, 103.90340478216345.

I don’t understand your requests to “shift” Wayspots. Are the current pins correct? If they are, then attempting to move them to manipulate game locations is considered abuse.

It is difficult to see if they are correctly placed on satellite view.

The issue is there was a previous nomination for “Ubi Shelter” which is now missing, which I guess was due to the proximity to “Fitness corner near blk 334”.

There are 3 landmarks in this area, but they are all separate. The red circle is “Fitness corner”, which is accurate. The pink circle refers to “Fitness corner near blk 334”, which is situated at the south tip of it. There is a third one “Ubi Shelter”, which I’ve denoted using the yellow circle.

I don’t understand this part. Was the location correction already made, but never reflected in game? Then you may need to do a bug report.

I would not expect staff to move this without evidence so suggest an image using “GPSCameraApp”.

Think it would be a good idea that all nominations that can’t be confirmed using maps must use GPSCameraApp for the supporting.

and giving another way this evidence can be provided. They are happy to use my location tagged photos as well, even without an external app to put the coordinates on the photo.

They normally ask me to provide one photo from the same point of view as the existing wayspot photo, and then several others from other angles for backup. I would suggest at least one that includes anything that can be seen on satellite view, such as the building behind the shelter, while keeping the shelter in the photo.

I have never needed an external app to provide information. But I do have location on my photos on my phone.

I really hate the idea of requiring folks to use a third party app to submit nominations, and this is off topic for this post. But I think you should start a new topic about this idea.
