I had a similar issue. My nomination was rejected and I was low on nominations through so had to use my pokemon account and sent it through again with an upgrade. I thought they took issue with the name or whatever. Thinking maybe they didn’t like my word “cosmic” for this LFL on public land. My upgrade went through and it was approved.
Then this post came up and apparently they appealed my first one and it was marked duplicate. Still wasted a nomination and I likely wouldn’t have upgraded it. But I was thinking it would fix the issue of whatever the first one had.
