Multiple of my suggestions were falsely auto-rejected

Wow - lots to try to remember there! I agree about the trees and doing close ups of the marker.

The bearded man carving is amazing but it looks like it’s on private property? If it is, it’s ineligible sadly.

The blacksmiths emblem thing - that also looks like it might now be a private residence?

Apparently birdhouses are often ineligible to protect the area for them, so the storks nest is ineligible for that reason.

The picnic benches/rest stops are tricky. Is a single table and benches enough to class as a picnic area? Is it a GREAT place to exercise, explore or socialise? I would struggle to say yes to any of those if I’m honest. You’d need to sell it to me that it’s basically a trail marker as part of the hiking trail, or that lots of people like to meet up there. Ultimately I’m guessing people don’t go there to socialise - they stop there because it’s there as a rest point on their walk. There’s nothing significant about it as being somewhere you’d seek out to explore it - and obviously it’s not exercise as you’re sitting! A good supplemental info piece could persuade me on the explore category, but on the info given I’d vote no even though I’d want to say yes if that makes sense.

Single-family private residential property (SFPRP) is an absolute no, which includes the outer boundary of these residences. This is for legal reasons.

At least two of these are clearly SFPRP, so the auto-rejection is definitely correct. It doesn’t matter how cool and artistic something is if it is on SFPRP.

The bearded man is on a public tree which is marked by the village. So it’s technically not on private property. And the black smith symbol is on the second residential office which is findable on Google Maps. And the storks are cultural in my reason.

It’s up to what is available in your region if you ask me and that’s the only thing which categorizes as this in my area. So it’s locally special and you could socialize there and explore because it’s on a walking trail.

The AI can only work with what it is given…

Nope. Look at my other reply’s.

The AI got everything the needed. A title, a description and a picture with everything clearly visible…

Unfortunately, it looks to fail due to the criteria…

“Single-family private residential properties (SFPRP), farms, and K-12 (schools or facilities primarily focused for persons under 18 years of age) are ineligible. This includes the outer facing facade, fence of these locations, and property boundaries.”

Unfortunately, that is not how it works. The criteria are the same everywhere. There is no system leniency for villages to allow things that wouldn’t be accepted in cities. Reviewers might be more generous with borderline submissions for an area with few wayspots.

Sometimes you have to make it perfectly clear what the AI should be looking at.

Unfortunately the Translation stops after the 3rd images so I would be making some guesses.

1st Image: Trail Marker on Tree. The marker does not stand out, AI probably thinks you are nominating a tree. Maybe image closer for the main image?

3rd Image: Stands out better but still more tree than marker.

5th @7th Image: Same as above.

9th Image: Definitely looks like SFPRP.

11th Image: Not sure what you are nominating.

13th Image: Benches are not usually accepted.

15th Image: Single Picnic Tables can struggle. Multiple Tables make easier nominations.

17th Image: I see nothing wrong depending on what the “Symbol” is for.

19 Image: Not sure what it is due to being in silhouette.

Edit: Just to clarify, in regards to the Trail Markers I am no expert or a fan of any of them, I believe it was @HikeLadyLDK that had some problems but also much success with different types so now that I have tagged her hopefully she will comment and give you much better advice on them than I ever will be able to.

To elaborate on @salixsorbus comment the Rural “exception” is not what you are saying.

In most case a McDonalds would not meet criteria but if it was the only eating establishment within 50 miles you could get it through as the only place to meet, maybe it is used for “Group Meetings” (new mums, seniors etc).

The location rules such as SFPRP are none negotiable wherever you are.

At first, thanks to all guys. I really appreciate your participation here.

I could just say that it’s difficult for me to accept that maybe a couple of them are not going through. I already got 5 waymarkers on that walking trail which is 4km long and this is way to few. I live there and I know what’s the properties on many things. It’s annoying that I can write down nearly everything on the circumstances of these suggestions and they still get rejected.

I want all these stops and there has to be more possibilities, besides learning carpentry and design to actively make these spots by myself which needs way to much time that I don’t have besides my job and all other stuff.

Self made / fitted items just to make a waypoint is also against Criteria.

If you was authorised to make something for the community and then also nominated it that would be fine but not just for the waypoint.

I still think you have a chance with the trail markers, you just need the markers to stand out more than the tree for the main image. You also need someone more knowledgeable on these than me to advise
