My pokestop was approved but never appeared, I suspect that perhaps a pokestop appeared in the same place that I indicated in an update from Niantic for new gyms, how can I be solving this problem?

Unless Bari is gone, you can’t.

Welcome to the forum @kaozbr

The prompt does not make clear that you are submitting Wayspots, not Pokestops. This article helps explain which Wayspots can become Pokestops or gyms:

> **[A Comprehensive Guide to S2 Cells and Pokémon GO | Pokémon GO Hub](https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/)**
>
> Pokémon GO is built on top of S2 cells. This article explains how S2 cells work, what are S2 cells and how S2 cells work in the context of Pokémon GO. S2 cells are a mathematical mechanism that helps computers translate Earth’s spherical 3D shape...

If the Wayspot is correctly placed, there is nothing you can do to make it become one, unless the other Wayspot @NvlblNm mentioned is removed in real life and reported in game as gone.
