Need help correcting poi placement. In game attempt failed

I erroneously placed the baseball diamond (

pictured) on the wrong side of the field. I tried to submit and upgrade a 10m location move request and it was denied.

I have also sent the help ai some information and havent had an update.

What recourse or action can i take to remediate this issue ?

The baseball diamond on the other side of the park is placed incorrectly as well, and that location edit wad also denied.

Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the forum

When a wayspot needs to be moved more than 10m to correct its location, this cannot be done in Pokemon Go. I tried years ago to incrementally correct a wayspot that was on the wrong side of a river, but the problem is the new location you submit needs to be correct and this isn’t possible with a 10m limit.

For edits of more than 10m, you need to go directly to Scopely Explore. For example, go to Niantic Wayfarer and click on the help icon at the lower right.

The tickets, once raised, get looked at by actual people. The chat bot is just used to guide you through the process and does not evaluate the reports.

I sent the full request in on August 29th, Remy told me an update would happen in a few hours. Its been a week, just worried i messed up.

I am unable to create a new help chat or ticket.

I’m not knowledgeable enough about the process once a ticket has been raised. Other people will be able to advise better on that or Scopely Explore staff might comment and assist.

I think you can also use Request modification or removal of a PokéStop or Gym — Pokémon GO, which creates an email chain. It might ask you to prove you are the owner of the property, but you can skip past and you get to say what the actual issue is.

(I am basing this on what I have read on this forum.)

It is possible staff that in the opinion of Wayfarer staff the current location is accurate (it matches the view)

That’s possible, but I wouldn’t like that, as the wayspot is clearly the baseball diamond and placing the marker at the place the photo was taken is not generally the right thing to do.

They did post an update a few days ago that support tickets were taking longer than usual due to an increased volume of support requests. They should still get to your ticket though.
