# Nonexistent wayspots won’t get removed

Hello. For so long I’ve been requesting removal of numerous wayspots that no longer exists, but it keeps getting rejected, even if it’s not showing up anymore on Google Maps or StreetView, and even when I point that out on the removal request (in-game). I’m really getting tired of it and I’d like to know why is it happening. I’m really thinking in not bothering with it anymore and let the map be full of non-existent places.

I also am frustrated with in game removal reports. Even with the new box where we can add information, I find them mostly rejected and have to appeal them in #Wayspot Appeals . Where the usual answer to me is

> After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspots in question.

although I have merely pointed out what was already available to the reviewer.

fwiw, I have much better success with using the reporting forms listed at the top here. I find the “Reporting Abuse” form has options that match what I am trying to report better:

And Niantic has assured me that using this form doesn’t automatically get someone in trouble. But you can also choose to use the “Wayspot Removals” form:

Just do not respond to an automated email asking for your credentials as property owner if you said you were not the property owner on the form.

Another option you could try is contacting Help Chat: [Niantic Wayfarer](https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help) but I hesitate to recommend that because the last time I did and asked why I was just getting linked to these forms on the old forum, Aaron said help chat was not the correct way to proceed. But that was back in 2023 and I have seen several people report that Help Chat removed something for them.
