I reviewed all the criteria before posting this wayspot and it was rejected for being temporary and not safe, I don’t understand how it’s not safe and I also don’t understand how a monument of public interest since 1955 can be branded as unsafe, it is simply unfair.
I don’t think this is unsafe either, but it only takes one reviewer checking “unsafe” because it is “ruins” for it to show up in the rejection reasons. The contributions page can only show two rejection reasons at a time, so there may be more reasons, but I think the issue is the top reason. I don’t think they were saying this is temporary, I think they were saying it is not “distinct.” I can barely see what your focus is on in the photo. Also, there is already a portal (I do mean “portal” not “wayspot” because I am looking at iitc) that has similar walls nearby that they may have thought this was a part of.
I looked around on Google Maps and could not see this entrance from there. If you resubmit, be sure to point out how reviewers can verify the entrance is safe. Take a beauty shot of the entrance. Mention the “property of public interest” in the description to make sure reviewers see it. Don’t use the word “ruins”. If this is a tourist attraction, mention that and link to proof in the supporting. And be sure to refresh this nomination in your contributions page a few times to see if any more rejection reasons come up that you need to address.
There may be more Wayspots already existing that I couldn’t see in the Ingress map. There is a way to check if there are unseen Wayspots when you are right there on site and turn the toggle on in the Pokemon Go nomination screen, but it only works in English I think. It will show you hidden Wayspots like this:
There might be something else already there even more similar to this entrance that I couldn’t see on iitc.
I prefer the ingress intel map myself vs IITC @cyndiepooh ![]()

i don’t think the off the shelf ingress map can be fitted with pogotools to show the S2 cells
Depends on if they want to invest more money on our tools or not I guess.
It’s handy having these at our disposal though…I’m nowhere near level 37 on pogo so your submission screen is something I’ve yet to see compared to ingress I only have access to the pokestop scan tool which is newer than ingress but runs differently.
