Dear Niantic Team, I am requesting a location edit for this Wayspot. During the community voting process, the pin for the Plaza was misplaced at the very edge of the park, putting it directly across the street from a neighboring church (‘Iglesia San Sebastián’) and causing it to be blocked due to proximity and cell density rules. The new proposed coordinates represent the actual open area of the plaza along Calle N° 4, which is a much more logical and accurate placement for the park marker. This correction will fix the map representation and properly display the Wayspot in the network. Thank you.
This Wayspot is not at either of the coordinates you provided. It is at -5.343235,-80.703607
If you tried to do a report from the map that was rejected, those are for removals. In the future, if you need a location moved, you can request that through help chat at https://wayfarer.scopely.com/new/help
Every one of the locations provided are still within the same cell as Iglesia San Sebastian, so even if this somehow wasn’t refused as a case of trying to manipulate the gameboard, it would still fail to manipulate the gameboard.
Place things where they are and then leave them there unless there is a valid reason for a move. Move requests that try to move valid pins purely in order to change what appears in the games are very likely to be considered abuse and can lead to sanctions.
Hola @pokemaster4u2. Comprendo que veas el pin en una ubicación aceptable, pero actualmente el marcador de la Plaza de Armas del AA.HH. 13 de Abril (La Arena, Piura) se encuentra ligeramente desplazado e invadiendo el espacio físico real de la iglesia que está a su costado.
Al estar ambos puntos de interés prácticamente encima del otro en el mapa actual, se genera un conflicto cartográfico en las bases de datos de Niantic. La corrección propuesta no es por capricho, sino para ubicar cada pin exactamente sobre su respectiva estructura física real en el terreno
(la plaza en su centro y la iglesia en el suyo), respetando la vista satelital y las directrices de precisión de Wayfarer. ¡Saludos!
fyi, Wayfarer belongs to Scopely Explore now, not Niantic. They are currently in the process of changing over all the branding. Staff members on the forum have user names that begin with “ScopelyExp” so you can recognize them.

Inexactitud actual: El marcador actual se encuentra excesivamente desplazado hacia el extremo oeste de la manzana, superponiéndose de manera errónea con el espacio físico real asignado a la estructura de la iglesia colindante. No worries. A lot of people don’t realize it and don’t know that Ingress is no longer part of Wayfarer, so I just wanted to make sure. You do still see “Niantic” a lot of places.
Crees que puedan darme solución al tema que tengo con el wayspot que ya lo aceptaron pero no aparece en el mapa de Pokémon go al momento de revisarlo en la comisión quizá movieron el puntero de la ubicación y cayó en la celda de la pokeparada del costado… saludos
All the locations you have given are within the same cell as the church. Even if it is moved to your preferred location, it will not show up in the game as a pokestop.
Wayfarer staff ONLY move wayspots to make the location correct in the real world. There are other games that use Wayspots besides Pokemon Go. Moving something away from a correct location is something they consider abuse. It looks like they did agree this Wayspot needed to be moved, but they will only move it further if you can give them absolute proof that the point of interest actually exists at a different real world location.
Others have said that the current location looks correct to them. I would not expect this to be moved. And even if it were moved, the entire point of interest is inside the same L17 S2 cell as an existing Pokestop, so it still could not become one.
(If you want to start a new topic, we could help you look for things to submit. I see Google labels for things that would make good Wayspots if they actually exist there.)
Hola Creo q fue error en las coordenadas…
No pretendo que se ponga en otra zona , sino que salga de la celda de la pokeparada de la iglesia y encontrar una coordenada correcta,pero dentro de la ubicación de la plaza de armas lo hago porque no hay pokeparadas en mi zona .
Hola , mira si revisas bien saldría de la celda de la iglesia y aparecería en el mapa si ese punto se pone al otro extremo del parque donde lo puse originalmente cuando envié el pedido de wayspot…

Al parecer está bien ubicado, pero por algún motivo no aparece en el mapa como pokeparada o gimnasio, y consultando me dijeron que es porque ocupa la misma celda del costado de la iglesia que es una pokeparada, que es la única pokeparada que existe cerca en el lugar…
