The former Sears corporate headquarters in Hoffman Estates, IL (42.0772040, -88.2152977) was demolished starting in August 2024.
The site has been under construction since and is being redeveloped into a data center.
While the points of interest inside can be accessed by the construction crew, the art and features simply do not exist anymore. I.e. Abstract Dogs and Abstract Frogs were demolished.

I have no way to access these POIs in game to file a removal request. Is there an alternative way to request removal in cases like this?
Welcome to the forum! Staff may action this from the report here. But there are many ways to file a report without actually being there. Let me see if I can link where I just wrote those out instead of posting them all again.
To report a Wayspot without being there, wayfinders can use the report option from the wayfarer map https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/mapview
They can use help chat https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help where a text box pops up in the lower right corner where a report can be filed. This is most often used for location edits as circled, but the next option leads to a criteria section, where you can report that it doesn’t exist. Replies are made in the text box, not by email for this method.
There are also two reporting forms linked at the top that can be used. I would recommend the one under “Wayspot Removals” for this situation. The form never matches what I am trying to do, but we have been told to just select anything, then explain in the text box.
