Wayspot Title: Bench
Additional Information: The POI has been moved, is now named Snail bench and is located here: 55.7302200, 9.1193040
Thank you for posting this screenshot. I have not seen this “location report” wording before.
Staff will want more evidence than just your statement that the bench is now where you say it is. Are you able to take geotagged photos to post here or possibly a splat as proof?
Hello Explorers,
Thank you for helping us welcome Scaniverse to the Niantic family. In an effort to help our Wayfarer community, we’ll be leveraging this cutting-edge technology and start accepting links to unlisted or public gaussian splats as evidence (supporting statements) for locations takedown reports and contributions appeals.
As many of you know, it can be a huge pain point in areas where Google Street view is not up to date or satellite view isn’t sufficient. Adding an unlisted or pub…
Maybe these 2 pictures will prove that it’s not at one of the places
So both of these are for the same bench, but actually the original one was moved? So the first one needs to be removed since both portals are live?
I will leave this for staff to tell you if they need more information.
Thanks for the appeal, @ashlyjem . After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the Wayspot in question.
