There are parts of the park that are in other L17 S2 cells. I have changed the background to satellite view to help visualize what hits where. Anytime I talk about S2 cells, I add a caution that Niantic takes misplacing points of interest to put them into unoccupied cells very seriously, so don’t be tempted to move something over the imaginary line.
I don’t see anything to recommend submitting from Maps views, but if there is something like a Little Free Library that has added in one of these other cells, that could work.
The reason I had an issue with this being accepted separately from the other wayspot with an identical bench in the photo is the claim that it is the only seating in the park. I would not have accepted this separately from the park.
