Wie und wonach wird entschieden ob ein eingereichter Vorschlag zu einem Pokéstop nominiert wird oder zu einer Dynamax Arena? Bei drei verschiedenen Vorschlägen sind Dynamax Arenen entstanden, wobei die ersten zwei nicht mehr vorhanden sind. In der Umgebung sind nicht viele Stops und es ist irgendwie ärgerlich, das aus den neuen Vorschlägen „nur sowas“ dabei rauskommt. Wovon hängt es also ab, ob ein Pokéstop entsteht oder Dynamax Arena???

The community has found that for a Wayspot to become a Pokestop, it must be alone in an L17 S2 cell. for more explanation, see: https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
We are still working out what makes a Wayspot become a Power Spot. So far we have uncoverd that it must be in an occupied L17 S2 cell, but farther away than 22m from any Pokestop or gym. The pool of eligible Power Spots actually used seems to be random, with up to 5 candidates in active rotation in an L14 cell.
Without seeing the location on the map, these may have been from data imports that were only eligible to be used as Power Spots for the introduction of that feature:
We could check this for you if you give the title and location. GPS coordinates are the easiest to look up. You can report a Power Spot Wayspot for removal if it is not there.
