Unsure if this is the correct topic.
My recently approved wayspot is in the wrong place.
It was moved somehow during voting, to the other side of the road. Should I report it or do something?

The pictures accompanying the nomination clearly supported the correct placement, so I don’t understand how this happened.
I’ve added a screenshot of where it is, vs. where it’s supposed to be. It’s not far off.
The marker can be seen on street view where you have placed the x, so I would recommend using help chat to correct the location. Access help chat through the help tab on the wayfarer site https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help and a chat box comes up at the lower right corner.
Choose the Wayfarer Edits option to request a location edit.
They reply in the chat box, not by email, fyi.
As to how this happened, either reviewers could have moved it there (but I don’t see any reason they would) or you could have accidentally submitted it in the wrong place. Either your phone did not have your correct location, or you bumped the map in the submission process. You can get the actual coordinates you submitted from the submission email if you still have that. They will be listed after the photos. Or you can get a good idea of the location submitted from the information on your contributions page at https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/nominations if you click on the contribution to show details.
Realized I should add that the correct location will not be eligible to be a Pokestop.
But this makes it even more important to correct it in my opinion, as you don’t want to look like you had misplaced it for cell reasons.

I’m new here, and have seen many horror stories so I really don’t want to risk a ban!
If you follow the rules there is no horror to fear. 
The golden rule is there is a lot of learning to do and if in any doubt please do ask the community here is keen to help people and happy to share ideas and tips.
Just to add to what @elijustrying said above…
These forums are moderated by the Ambassadors and staff who will call out / remove anything that isn’t true.
Other sources such as Reddit / facebook / X etc will get people that will complain that they got a ban for no reason but they will not be telling the whole truth. Here staff would have pick them up on it.
