Red hill sculptures, waypoints removed

Some way points were mysteriously and unfairly removed :
metal orb sculpture

(-38.374363, 145.052301)
Red hill south
Victoria , Australia
This way point has been removed, very confused. This is a significant art sculpture within red hill, I assume it was removed as it was assumed on private property but it’s actually located on a public trail known to the community, this waypoint was utilised heavily because of the heavy foot traffic in the are.

This is also true for another way point which was removed on same day.
Red Hill Rustic Horse
(-38.374707, 145.052335)
Red hill south
Victoria Melbourne

Another way spot close to the orb sculpture which was removed yesterday. These are both on public trails and were heavily used. Many more people I in redhill started playing the game and interacting with the community. This particular wayspot was used as a gym in pokemon go and has been visited and raided by a huge amount of people which is almost unheard of in red hill. These spots brought the community together and should be reinstated as they were removed for no particular reason

Welcome to the forum.

The team will have either had evidence or a property owner request to remove a Wayspot. They don’t just remove because a report says it is SFPRP any more than they reinstate because someone says it isn’t. They will need evidence. Both of these pins do look like they are on single family private residential or farm property to me.

They are beside it , on trails that lead to the more larger merricks trail, the owners of the property next to the trails, are fine with the pokestops as I know them. They were randomly removed, what do I need to have them restored?

Current photos proving they are not on private property and still exist at the indicated location would probably be good

I would give evidence that they currently exist and that the property they are on is not single family private residential property. The team will have to decide the appeal, so anything the rest of us say is just trying to help you make your case. Team members on the forum will be clearly identified with names that begin with “ScopelyExp.”

If they are indeed on single family residential property, the owners permission does not override the restrictions for SFPRP.

Thanks for the appeal, @Crustyz7! We have taken another look, but stand by our decision to retire the Wayspots.
